Some tasks you can expect to be performing from day to day as a dental hygienist could be: taking x-rays of patient’s teeth, removing plaque, applying fluoride, and teaching patients the best techniques to keep their teeth clean and healthy! Graduates of the IHCC Dental Hygiene program will be eligible to sit for the National Board Dental Hygiene (NBDHE) and clinical board exam CRDTS.
